PAWTUCKET, R.I. (Aug. 27, 2026) –  Boston Legacy FC today announced that the Club will play its 2027 National Women’s Soccer League home matches at Centreville Bank Stadium before moving into White Stadium, its permanent home, in 2028. 

During the 2026 season, Legacy fans quickly established Centreville Bank Stadium as one of the NWSL’s most exciting matchday environments, bringing energy and passion to the 10,500-seat venue. 

Centreville Bank Stadium is home to USL Championship side Rhode Island FC. Opened in 2025, the state-of-the-art, 100 percent electric soccer-specific stadium features modern facilities and a compact lower-bowl with an arena-like configuration, placing fans unexpectedly close to the action and creating a high-energy atmosphere. 

“Centreville Bank Stadium provides the type of intimate, energetic atmosphere that can create a true home-field advantage, and we are excited to welcome Boston Legacy FC back for another season,” said Centreville Bank Stadium General Manager Paul Byrne. “We want this to be a place where the club can win games, build momentum and give its supporters an outstanding fan experience.”
